Journalist Radley Balko to visit Wake Forest to discuss police militarization

Journalist Radley Balko, who writes for the Washington Post and other publications, will be speaking at the Worrell Professional Center on February 3rd at noon in Room 1312 about police militarization and police brutality, issues addressed in his 2013 book Rise of the Warrior Cop.  This will be an excellent opportunity for students and teachers alike who are interested in learning more about this controversial and highly relevant topic.  Lunch will be provided at the event.
